Blizzard has corrected the level range for Krol’dok Stronghold in WoW: Forever. The dungeon is intended for characters at levels 40–45, rather than the range shown in some earlier BlizzCon materials.
The clarification comes directly from Blizzard’s WoW: Forever forum post. For players mapping out dungeon groups, leveling routes, or UI notes ahead of launch, the practical takeaway is simple: place Krol’dok Stronghold in the level-40-to-45 portion of the dungeon progression.
The confirmed WoW: Forever dungeon brackets
Alongside the correction, Blizzard provided the current level brackets for all nine new dungeons planned for WoW: Forever at launch. They are:
- The Hall of Thanes: levels 13–18
- Ruins of Lordaeron: levels 15–20
- Excavation Site: Wetlands: levels 24–29
- City of Dalaran: levels 28–33
- The Drowned City: levels 35–40
- Krol’dok Stronghold: levels 40–45
- Alcaz Prison: levels 48–53
- Blackmaw Hold: levels 55–60
- Shaper’s Terrace: levels 58–60
What this means for planning
Krol’dok Stronghold now sits immediately after The Drowned City in the stated progression, with a gap before Alcaz Prison begins at level 48. That is useful context if you are preparing leveling spreadsheets, dungeon finder notes, guild event plans, or addon categories around the announced content.
Note: Blizzard’s post confirms the dungeon’s intended level range, but the evidence here does not provide encounter details, loot, entrance location, or a release schedule beyond identifying these as launch dungeons for WoW: Forever.
The original correction is brief, but it resolves the one detail that had been inconsistent: Krol’dok Stronghold is a 40–45 dungeon. Wowhead’s report on the announcement also reproduces Blizzard’s full dungeon-bracket list.
