Druid Macros for WoW Classic (Balance, Feral, Restoration)

This page gathers simple, reliable Druid macros for WoW Classic – usable in Classic Era, Hardcore and Season of Discovery. They’re designed to be easy to remember, avoid keybind bloat, and work well with most UIs and addon setups.

General Druid Macros

These macros are useful for every spec.

Mouseover Heal (Rejuvenation)

Core healer / support macro – lets you apply Rejuvenation just by hovering a friendly frame, without changing target.

How it works

Hover any friendly unit frame (party, raid, target frame, nameplate, etc.) and press this keybind to cast Rejuvenation on them. If you don’t have a mouseover, it heals your current friendly target instead.

Mouseover Dispel – Remove Curse / Abolish Poison

One button to handle your main dispels: Remove Curse by default, Abolish Poison with a modifier.

Hover an ally with poison → hold Shift to cast Abolish Poison.
Hover an ally with a curse → press normally for Remove Curse.

Form Swap – Bear / Cat on One Key

Simple stance-dance macro that swaps between Bear Form and Cat Form using a modifier.

Use this as your basic “I need to tank / I need to dps” toggle: Cat Form for damage, hold Shift to swap into Bear Form when you need to soak hits or peel mobs.

Balance Druid Macros

Focus on ranged nukes, DoT management and basic cooldowns.

Wrath / Starfire Toggle (Single Key)

Use one key for your main nukes – Wrath for faster casts, Starfire with a modifier for big hits.

Press normally → casts Wrath for quick, consistent damage.
Hold Shift → casts Starfire when you have time to stand still.

DoT Opener – Moonfire + Insect Swarm

Applies your two key DoTs in a simple castsequence – perfect opener for Balance leveling and raiding.

Tap once for Moonfire, tap again for Insect Swarm. Changing target resets the sequence.

Barkskin + Hurricane

Pairs Barkskin with Hurricane for safer AoE channeling.

Feral Druid Macros

These focus on Bear tanking and Cat DPS with minimal button bloat.

Bear Tank – Maul + Swipe

Basic threat macro in Bear Form: keeps you swinging and queues Maul while using Swipe for AoE threat.

Use as your main “spam” button in Bear Form when tanking packs.

Oh-Shit Bear – Barkskin + Enrage

Quickly boosts rage generation and reduces incoming damage when things get scary.

Enrage increases damage taken, so pairing it with Barkskin helps smooth that out. Use when you need rage now and have healer attention.

Cat DPS – Builder / Finisher Toggle

Use one key for your main Cat Form builder and finisher – Shred by default, Ferocious Bite with a modifier.

Press normally → casts Shred as your main combo-point builder (when behind the target).
Hold Shift → dumps combo points with Ferocious Bite.

Restoration Druid Macros

These focus on emergency healing, mana tools and battle res.

Nature’s Swiftness + Healing Touch

Classic Resto “oh-shit heal” – combines Nature’s Swiftness with a huge instant Healing Touch.

Use this when someone is about to die and a normal cast won’t land in time. It’s especially strong combined with trinkets or external buffs.

Mouseover Battle Res – Rebirth

Quickly resurrect a dead ally in combat by hovering their frame – essential for raid and dungeon play.

Rebirth is on a long cooldown and uses a reagent. Use it on key roles (tank, healer, important DPS) and communicate with your raid.

Innervate Helper

Simple macro to quickly cast Innervate on a mouseover ally, or yourself if no valid target.

How to Create Macros in WoW Classic

Press Esc → click Macros (or type /macro).
Choose General (for all characters) or Character Specific.
Click New, pick an icon, and give it a name.
Paste the macro text from this page into the large text box.
Drag the macro icon onto your action bar.

If a macro doesn’t work:

Check spelling of abilities (language & rank don’t matter in Classic, but names must match).
Make sure the skill is learned.
Try removing other addons that modify macros or action bars.
